With an Edge started with a little home hairdresser with big dreams to create a fun, loving environment salon that serves complimentary cocktails. We now have the most amazing staff/family with the best vibes and have taken out 2023 Gold Coast best hairdresser followed us by our award for 2018 Macalister’s best hairdresser. It can get a little boring sitting waiting for your colour to process so we have the yummiest cocktail list to choose your complimentary cocktail from (no premixed). We aim to set the bar high and provide you quality hair and service.

Sam - Owner
I am the owner of With an Edge Hair and Beauty and have been hairdressing for over 20 years. I am A mum of 3 gorgeous kiddies who does love a good time, I was born in the country and the country girl has definitely never left me. I am extremely passionate about what I do and will continue to set the bar high for hair expectations. I specialise in colour corrections, hair extensions and blondes.
Renee - Master Stylist
I’ve been hairdressing for 7 years now, I’m a Mumma of 3 girls that keep me on my toes. I love foiling, doing back to back baby lights and giving my clients a good ear to chat to, I’m always down for a good chat and making my clients feel special I have been with Sam from the start of my apprenticeship and is so grateful to be a part of the With an Edge team.
Vikki -Senior Stylist & Makeup Artist
A dedicated hairstylist and makeup artist with a genuine passion for the beauty industry. With four years of hairstyling experience and seven years as a qualified makeup artist, Vikki specialises in various hair extensions, including tapes, wefts and keratin bonds. Vikki loves a good conversation and prides herself in being a great listener.
Ash - Stylist
A third-year apprentice here at With an Edge, Ash is just a few months away from qaulifying! Currently, she is passionate about foiling and styling, eagerly learning the latest techniques and trends. In the future, Ash hopes to expand her skills to include extensions. When she' snot at work, she enjoys spending time with her family or going out with friends - Ash's go to drink is a margarita.
Brooke - Stylist
Brooke is a second-year apprentice and extension specialist, who is deeply passionate about the beauty industry and everything that comes with it. Brooke truly loves connecting with the clients and providing as service that leaves them feeling comfortable, confident and absolutely ion awe of their look. She is always eager to learn and is constantly striving to grow her skills and master new techniques.

Prices are beyond reasonable and added bonus, they have a cocktail menu and massaging chairs at the wash basin.
